Paradox 01
Air vs Sound
Fresh air keeps the brain alert. Fans introduce the noise that breaks acoustics. Calma moves 139 exchanges per hour without disturbing the silence.
Eight pods, sized to the work. Five paradoxes, solved together. Four elements, calibrated as one. This is The Right Place.

The Paradoxes
These are the five contradictions every acoustic pod faces. Most pods solve one and concede the rest. Calma solves all five together, in the same environment. No tricks. Just calibration.
Paradox 01
Air vs Sound
Fresh air keeps the brain alert. Fans introduce the noise that breaks acoustics. Calma moves 139 exchanges per hour without disturbing the silence.
Paradox 02
Light vs Acoustics
Warm video-ready light wants reflective surfaces. Acoustic clarity wants absorbent ones. Calma's wall does both. Class A absorption with 90+ CRI face lighting.
Paradox 03
Privacy vs Presence
Enclosed enough to focus. Open enough not to feel buried. Glass front, sealed acoustics. You're seen, you're not heard, and the floor continues without you.
Paradox 04
Architecture vs Mobility
Solid as a room. Refreshable as furniture. Calma is engineered to be assembled, refreshed, disassembled and reinstalled, without losing its acoustic class.
Paradox 05
Performance vs Calm
Cognitively intense. Physically restful. The pod has to support peak focus and feel like a place the human wants to stay in. Most pods are one or the other. Calma is calibrated for both.
Anyone can build a box. Calma builds the right place.

01 · Sound
Calibrated Acoustics
30+ dB
Class A according to ISO 23351-1
We block what shouldn't come in, balance what's inside, and tune what carries voice. Class A per ISO 23351-1. Reverberation time of 0.30 seconds, tuned for human voice clarity. The sound inside the pod is the sound of someone thinking clearly.

02 · Air
Calibrated Atmosphere
139×/hr
SCS Indoor Air Quality certified · low-emitting materials
Air that stays alert, air that stays silent. 139 air exchanges per hour on Calma For U, 80 to 94 on other models. CO₂ held below 1,000 ppm even with sustained occupancy. The fans are integrated. The noise is engineered out. CO₂ in parts per million is the one measure of concentration you can watch live, and the one a headphone never touches.

UL 962 Listed electronics
Light that supports the eye, the camera, and the circadian clock. Dimmable from 2700 K (warm white) to 6500 K (cool daylight). Two integrated vertical face lights for shadow-free video. Set for the moment, not preset to a marketing temperature.

Environmental intelligence
The four elements only work because they were designed for each other. Air movement was tuned not to disturb acoustics. Materials were selected for both absorption and colour rendering. Lights were embedded so they don't compete with surfaces or generate glare. Privacy was tuned so presence remains. Each decision was made in awareness of the others, the way a watch is engineered, not assembled. The pod is not a sum. It's a calibration.
Four elements, calibrated as one. From the outside, it simply looks like someone on a call.
Connected
Four elements make the environment. A small set of sensors and controls makes it behave: waking when someone walks in, showing the floor whether it is free, and putting fan and light within reach of the person inside. Everything here works on the wall and at the door, with nothing to install.
Light and ventilation switch on when you enter and rest when the pod is empty.
A light on the frame tells the floor whether the pod is free or in use.
Fan speed and light level, set on the wall inside by the person using the pod.
On Calma For U, mounted at the door. The day’s bookings, so a reserved pod reads as reserved.
Power outlets, USB A+C and HDMI in one module, with a bracket for a screen.
An RJ45 data connector on Calma Small and For U, and an optional GSM gateway where the pod needs its own connection.
Availability of each item varies by model and configuration. See the model pages and the specification sheet.
Five paradoxes resolved. Four elements calibrated.
One environment for the good work of human intelligence.
Within what physics allows.
